BrightDoor builds websites for realtors and loan officers. This page covers two groups: our customers, and the people who visit our customers' sites.

What we collect from customers

  • Your name, email, phone, and the office you work under.
  • License and NMLS numbers, so we can put them on your site.
  • The links, logo, and photo you give us, and what we read from those pages to fill your site.
  • Billing details, which are held by our payment processor. We never see your full card number.

What we collect from visitors to a customer site

  • What a visitor types into the contact form or the site assistant: name, email or phone, and the message.
  • Page views, counted by page and by day. We keep raw view events for 14 days, then only the daily counts.
  • The referring site when the browser sends one. No fingerprinting, no session recordings, no heatmaps.

The customer who owns the site is responsible for how they use a lead after it reaches them.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell leads, and we do not share them with anyone except the site owner.
  • We do not send text messages to visitors.
  • We do not show visitor data to AI tools unless the site owner turns that on for their own key.

How long we keep it

  • Leads stay until the site owner deletes them, or the account is deleted.
  • Raw page events: 14 days.
  • Headshots and generated images are deleted with the account.
  • Ad account tokens are deleted when you disconnect them.
  • Our audit log of account actions is kept for 2 years.

AI

We use AI models to draft site text, posts, and ad copy from what you gave us, and to check that copy for risky wording. Drafts wait for your approval. The site assistant only repeats answers the owner approved.

Deleting your data

Customers can delete leads in the app. To delete your whole account, or if you visited a site and want your message removed, write to privacy@brightdoor.ai.
